Hi Crafty Friends,
Welcome to the Maui Achievers January Blog Hop. We’re a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who have achieved the Stampin’ Up! bonus of the Maui incentive trip. We celebrate this achievement by organizing a monthly hop which helps us continue to inspire you creatively!
This month, I have a crowd pleasing Fun Fold to share with you!
The first card is using the True Love Designer Series Paper and a Valentine’s Day Theme, pairing it with the Many Hearts dies. This is easily one of my favorite DSP packs in the new January-June Mini Catalog – it’s ALL black & white patterns. The mix of floral with geometric makes my heart so happy. And, I love black and red together – it’s so classic.
Here is the inside view. I’ll list all of the dimensions later in this post.
What a stunner, right?!
Using Fun Folds in my classes and showing how versatile they are by showcasing the same fold with various suites of products is one of my favorite things to do. You can change up the colors and theme and have an easy WOW card using the same dimensions, over and over again!
Using the same fold and dimensions with the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, here is another fun project I made for a team event and it was a huge hit! The Berry Blessings bundle, which includes this DSP is a FREE Level 2 product option with a $100 order (before tax/shipping) during Sale-A-Bration.
I love how different the feel you get from each card is just by switching up the colors and extras.
Want to see another? I thought you might.. This is a class project from the weekend, using the new Snail Mail Suite of products.
Same layout – completely different feel! I love it!
The dimensions for the basics of this card are:
- Card Base – 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ and score at 4 1/4″ on the long side
- Card Stock “flap/backwards book fold” – 3 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ and score at 3 3/4″
- Designer Series Paper (inside of card) – 4″ x 5 1/2″
- Designer Series Paper (front of card base) – 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- Designer Series Paper (front of “flap”) – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
- if you wanted to add a White mat inside of your “backwards book/flap” this would be the size for that also
Easy peasy! Add your own flair and dress it up or down! This card is so easy and such fun to make!
