Today, I’m sharing a fun Anniversary card I made to play along with The Spot Creative Challenge #149. This week’s challenge was a sketch and as soon a I saw it, I pictured a heart flower bouquet!
The timing of this challenge worked out perfectly because now I have my wedding anniversary card completed a month in advance! (shhh.. don’t show my husband!)
One of the Level 1 Sale-A-Bration items this year was the perfect choice for my flowers! The Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper pack is amazing and one print is watercolored circles perfect for die cutting flowers out of! My diecut flowers are in the Pierced Bloom die set that coordinates with the In Bloom Stamp Set and can also be purchased as a bundle to save 10%. The stitching in these flowers make my heart happy!
The colors in the circles pushed my cardstock choices to Seaside Spray and Soft Seafoam. This really made the flowers pop! I also added some Wink of Stella to the center of the Seaside Spray flowers and Champagne Rhinestones to the center of the Rococo Rose flowers. I just love how this turned out! I really think it’s better than I pictured in my head.
