Today’s card is using the gorgeous new First Frost Stamps and Die Bundle. I have been working with this set for a few days, prepping projects for an upcoming class. I absolutely LOVE this set. It’s great for weddings, birthdays, and the holiday season.

Since First Frost was on my desk, using it for this week’s Global Design Project #157 Color Challenge was a given.

This week’s challenge is using Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron and Grapefruit Grove. I’m pretty sure that Blackberry Bliss is currently my favorite Stampin’ UP! color.

My card base is Mint Macaron with a Shimmery White Cardstock for the mat (4″ x 5 1/4″). I wanted to add something subtle to the Shimmery mat so I embossed it with the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. If you haven’t tried the Shimmery White Cardstock, you should! It’s so pretty and everything stamped on it shimmers. I used it for all of the flowers in my card and the stitched flag I stamped the sentiment on. The stitched frame is die cut out of the Floral Frost Designer Series Paper. Every sheet in this pack is shimmery, and of course, I picked the Blackberry sheet. SO pretty! Underneath the frame I have some of the White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon peeking out on both sides. The white sprigs are cut out of the new Sparkle Glimmer paper and both pieces of foliage are Mint Macaron. I used the Floral Bouquet Framelits as well as pieces from the Detailed Leaves Thinlits and Stitched Label Framelits. I like being able to piece together images from different sets.

I linked a few of the items I used above but the complete list is posted below. If you’d like to add any of these items to your stash, the images will take you to my online shop!

I hope you enjoyed my entry – thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting,
