Hi Friends!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I opened up my January Paper Pumpkin box and made a few alternative projects from the pieces.

Key to My Heart

Of course one of my cards is a shaker! As soon as I saw that lock window on one of the card bases, I knew I needed to make it shake!

Did you get this box? I have a few extras if you still need one!

Shake Shake Shake

I made an alternative using each of the card bases. For the first two, I added some gold Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins. I think it might be my favorite embellishment from the Stampin’ Up! January – April Mini Catalog. They match the foiling detail of the kit perfectly.

My other staple is a double bow when using any kind of thread or Bakers Twine. It just adds more to the accent and gives me something more substantial to glue down! Do you prefer a single or double bow?

And the grand finale… Shake Shake Shake! I just love this card. I have a few more bases to cut up and make shakers with. For this card I used the front of the Petal Pink card base and actually placed it onto one of the Fresh Freesia card bases, covering the design. The piece behind the lock window is from the original card base. I finished it off with some of the pink Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins!
