Hi Crafty Friends! Welcome!

My card for today features some Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. I just love the furry friends featured in these prints.

I used the adorable golden retriever wrapped in holiday lights for my focal point because I absolutely love strings of lights during the holiday season!

I made a mini slimline card – these are so fun! My card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock and cut to 6″ x 6″, with a score at 3″. My mat is a Pool Party Cardstock layer cut to 2 3/4″ x 5 3/4″. I stamped my sentiment right onto this layer at an angle. I used 3 strips of the pretty Designer Series Paper cut to 1″ x 5 1/2″ and adhered them in the same direction as the stamped sentiment before trimming off the extra on the sides. I adhered this layer to my card front and then added my fussy cut furry friend. To finish off my card, I added some blue rhinestones and a piece of light strings DSP to my envelope flap.
