Stampin Up Luv 2 Stamp Group Hop Banner

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021-2022 Annual Catalog Inspiration Hop. We are so happy you are hopping along with us. The demonstrators participating in this Blog Hop were presenters at our new Stampin’ Up! catalog kickoff event for our team. We wanted to make sure to share these beautiful projects with you all as well. We hope you gain new tips, techniques, and of course tons of inspiration. Once you are done with each post, don’t forget to keep hopping along by clicking on the next name in the list.

I chose to work with the new Flowers of Friendship Bundle which is a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating punch. It’s definitely one of my favorite products of the new Annual Catalog.

The three projects I shared with our team use the bundle and feature a different Designer Series Paper set for each one, as well as all of the new ’21-’23 In Colors.

Flowers of Friendship Stamp and Punch Bundle featuring Pansy Patch Designer Series Paper

My first card uses the “B” sides of the new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I cut 3/4″ x 4″ strips to showcase behind my focal image, which uses the Layering Circles dies and three flower clusters from the stamp set. I used my Dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend to color my Basic White Bakers Twine. The gorgeous accents in the centers of my flowers are the new Genial Gems. I used the Pale Papaya gems on each flower cluster, but I used my Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend to add color to the gem placed on the Fresh Freesia flowers. These little gems are so pretty in person! My card base and layered mat are Pale Papaya cardstock. This is definitely one of my new favorite colors!

My second project features the new ’21-’23 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack. These colors are amazing,  you guys! Seriously – Stunning in person!

My card base is Soft Succulent and my layered mat is one of the Soft Succulent patterns from the paper stack. I used the other 4 colors and die cut a stitched rectangle which measures just under 1″ x 3 1/2″. I punched two flowers of each color from the Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink and leaves from the Evening Evergreen Shimmer Vellums. They are gorgeous! I also added new In Color Jewels to the centers of the flowers. These are also amazing. I will be using these on everything, I assure you.

Look at this shimmer! I need packs upon packs upon packs of this new In Color Shimmer Vellum. Wow!

My third project is a cute Fun Fold featuring the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. The “B” sides of this paper stack is perfect to pair with lots of other stamp sets. My card base is Highland Heather and is cut to 4 1/4″ x 10″ and scored on the long side at 2 1/4″ and 7 1/4″. I have a Basic White layer mat on the inside that was cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper on the front flaps were cut to 2″ x 4″.

I used the new Scalloped Contours dies and a piece of Highland Heather DSP for the background of my focal image. I also cut the same size from Basic White and adhered them together so that you couldn’t see the backside of the DSP when opening the card. I stamped my image in Basic Grey on a Basic White stitched rectangle. I did use my Stampin’ Blends to color the image, but I was careful to not oversaturate my paper and cause my ink to bleed. I stamped the flowers on a scrap piece, colored them and cut them out to pop up on my focal image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My sentiment is a peek-a-boo and is on the inside of my card.

I hope you enjoyed my projects!
