Hi Crafty Friends!
Happy Friday! I’m excited to share some things I’ve worked on recently!
Last month I hosted an online class featuring the Whale Done stamp set and everyone had a great time! I’ll be sharing the projects we made over the next couple of weeks, intertwined with a few projects from other classes I’ve held recently.
I created two of the projects to be combined as a gift or they can be used independently.
The first of the two projects is this 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″ decorated Acetate Box. These boxes are new, with the release of the ’20-’21 Annual Catalog and I just love them. They’re the perfect size for so many fun treats!
I wrapped a piece of Pacific Point cardstock (2 3/4″ x 9″) around my box when it was closed and secured it to itself so it could be slid off and back on the box. My Designer Series Paper for the front was cut to 2 1/2″ x 3″. I used my Whale Builder punch to make one Basic Grey and one White whale to layer them. I added some Whale of a Time sequins (my FAVE) to the wrap using Tear & Tape. My label is die cut from the new Tasteful Labels dies and the seaweed is from the Smooth Sailing dies, and cut from DSP.
This box is such a great size!
We also made three 3″ x 3″ notecards that fit inside the acetate box! All card bases were cut to 3″ x 6″ and scored at 3″ and the DSP mats were cut to 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″. I added sentiments and stamped images from the Whale Done Stamp Set to finish them off. I also used some of the DSP to cover the envelope flaps! So cute – and SO easy!
Most of the items used for this class can be found in the Whale of a Time product suite – you can use one item number to get them all! Easy peasy! It even includes the bundle discount for the stamp/whale punch combo.
Everything else I used is also listed below.
If you shop with me now through the end of September, please use the Host Code below. If your purchase is over $150, don’t use the code and you’ll get the Stampin’ Rewards PLUS a giftie from me as a Thank You!
Thanks for stopping by – I hope you enjoyed these projects!
Happy Crafting,
