Hi Everyone! I’m back with another Global Design Project!
This week’s Challenge is a Sketch: GDP #158
This week’s challenge is so fun – I will likely use the layout and create more cards (stay tuned), though we’re only allowed one submission per challenge.
I chose to use the new Santa’s Workshop Suite. This suite speaks to my inner child and I cannot stop using it. It’s so colorful and fun and screams Christmas. It will be the primary suite used for most of my gift packaging this year. The suite includes a stamp set, matching framelits, Designer Series Paper with 4 flocked designs (drool!), twine, enamel shapes, ribbon, Santa’s gift bags and Memories and More cards. It’s amazing! And the dies cut out images from the Designer Paper – which makes it super, quick and easy to put together adorable cards, tags and more!
I suppose it’s time to share my card and stop gushing about this fabulous suite!
My card base is Garden Green and I used the lovely flocked,
candy cane striped DSP for my mat. It is cut to 4″ x 5″. I used a
piece of Whisper White cardstock for my focal piece, cut to 2 1/2″ x 5
3/8″ and matted it with a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock cut to 2 1/2” x
5 5/8”. The cute elves and North Pole sign are cut directly from the DSP with
the framelits – SO easy! I also used the adorable Santa’s Workshop Enamel
Shapes (snowflakes) and coordinating Garden Green Bakers Twine for accents. The
snowflakes are a little hard to see in the picture, but they add a fun element.
My sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set and embossed with
White Embossing Powder onto Garden Green cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting,
Kurstan
