My Holiday Stampin’ BINGO event was this past weekend and attendance blew me away! This is the third time I’ve hosted a BINGO event and I am planning for 3 a year – one for each new Catalog Release. Attendance has grown from 6 to 22 and I believe that the next one will be even bigger. It is a super fun event to host (and attend, I’ve been told)!

If you’re local to the SF Bay Area and are interested in attending, the next event will be for the release of the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration celebration on Saturday, January 19th. I’ll have more info on the Events and Classes page as well as on my Facebook Events page.

I had a lot of fun planning and making the projects for the Holiday Catalog. I want to share them here, and I’ll have a PDF file with the specifics posted in my Kurstan’s Crafting Corner Facebook Customer Group.

The first project was a card using the new Country Lane Suite.  This suite includes the Country Home stamp set, Country Lane Designer Series Paper, the adorable Chicken Wire Elements, Galvanized Clips and Braided Linen Trim. I just love this suite and the colors used!

The second project used the new Making Christmas Bright bundle, as well as the Making Everyday Bright Stamp set. The bundle includes the Making Christmas Bright stamp set and the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. When I saw these stamps I saw rainbow lights. I tend to lean more towards traditional Christmas colors when I decorate but giving gifts is another story! Decorating gifts allows me to break out of my comfort zone and I try to tailor packages to the person I’m giving them to. This tag is perfect for a few of my nieces who love bright colors.

The third project was a card using the Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle. This bundle is made up of the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set and Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits. I also used the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder and my Stampin’ Blends to make this card a traditional Holiday delight.

The fourth project is a card using the Peaceful Noel Bundle, which consists of the Peaceful Noel stamp set and the Sprig Punch. It’s a Photopolymer set, which makes placement a breeze! Both items are available individually or with a 10% discount when purchased as a bundle. This bundle also coordinates with the whole Joyous Noel Suite, which also includes a new Glimmer Paper stack, Wire Elements, Reversible shimmery Ribbon and absolutely gorgeous Designer Series Paper with copper accents. This suite is a copper lover’s dream! (I am one of those people!)

The fifth and final project is a 3D Treat Box using the new Takeout Treats Bundle. This bundle is the Takeout Treats stamp set and Takeout Thinlits. This box is little but oh, so cute! This project mirrors a sample from the Holiday Catalog that can be found on page 51. It was too cute to pass up. The little Spider Trinkets are such a fun addition to any project. For this one, I used wire snips to cut off the jump ring.

I hope you enjoyed perusing the projects featured. Everyone had a great time and I can’t wait for the next Stampin’ BINGO! If you’re local, I hope to see you there!

I’ve linked most of the products used below. If you have any questions about the projects or supplies, please send me a message! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting,

Kurstan
