Hi Crafty Friends,

In my previous post I mentioned the gorgeous Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets. This paper is amazing. They each have a different sheen and you really have to see them in person to appreciate them in all their glory. The Lovely Lipstick is more of a matte metallic and the Grapefruit Grove looks like an oil slick that changes color with light’s refraction. They’re so fun to work with!

Today’s project was inspired by a fellow Demonstrator, Cindi Clarke, who posted a lovely card showing how she used our  Embossing Folders with the Foil Sheets.

Mind. Blown.

This technique with the fantastic new Be Mine Framelits is a match made in heaven.

My heart features our Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It’s so feminine and pretty.

Are you ready for the project? Of course you are!!

Look how gorgeous this is! I made my card starting with a square base. I love working with square cards and this heart fit perfectly on it. My Lovely Lipstick card base is 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ when folded and I cut my Whisper White mat at 4″ x 4″. I put the same sized mat inside to make it easier to write on – and stamp, of course.

Look how lovely it is in Grapefruit Grove, also!

The flower accent on my heart is die cut from the same Framelit set out of Whisper White and I used my Stampin’ Blends to color it in. Before die-cutting it, I used some of my Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of the card stock so it comes out like a sticker. This product is SO awesome for intricate dies. No mess glue on the back. And with the foil, that’s an added bonus. If you accidentally use too much liquid glue and get it on the foil, it leaves a funky residue on the sheen.
There are so many great sentiments that work with this card. I chose to make one for my BFF and one for my husband. Stamping the sentiment inside the card keeps the front looking clean and classy!

Thank you for stopping by! Everything I used can be purchased in my online store by clicking the pictures below!

Happy Crafting,
