Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop!

We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products. Once you are done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Blog Hop participants, you can click on their name to go to their post, or you can click the next button to go to the next post in line. Happy crafting! This month’s theme is Celebrating Women.

I chose to use some of my Sale-A-Bration products because they haven’t gotten much love from me, yet, and they’re absolutely amazing! The A Touch of Ink stamp set and the Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack are, easily, my favorite items this year and they pair so well together. My project features the Rococo Rose piece and I absolutely love it!

There is only 1 week left to earn these items FREE with a $50 or $100 qualifying order. Now is a great time to stock up on the basics (cardstock, envelopes, adhesives..) and get some awesome gifts from Stampin’ Up!

This stamp set is a combination of outline stamps and distinktive stamps for Two Step Stamping. Using my blending brush, I actually removed some of the ink on the butterfly “filler” stamp, which is a fun technique to share! You can see the lighter color towards the tips of the wings and it gets darker towards the body. For the flowers, I stamped off on my scratch paper first before stamping the filler to give it  a lighter shade of Rococo Rose and then used my blending brush to add a dab of ink towards the center of my main flower giving it a more blended, and darker appearance. The new blending brushes are so fun to play with!

I added some Elegant Faceted Gems for a little sparkle and my sentiment is from the new In Bloom Stamp Set.

My card layout was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest made by Jenn Houston. I loved the way she used the Stitched Nested Labels. I have an image of the labels below, with my measurements, noting which labels I used.

I hope you enjoyed stopping by today! Don’t forget to keep hopping along to see all of the other amazing creators and their fun projects this month!
