I was so excited to share my Dashing Deer Tealight Holder with you that I completely forgot that I never shared the first one I made – the Fall version!
*gasp*
I might even love this one more – I do love Fall, oh so much!
I cut out various leaves from the Detailed Leaves Thinlits and attached them all to the larger leaf. The largest leaf is the silhouette die and is cut from Sahara Sand cardstock then embossed with the new Corrugated Dynamic Texture Embossing Folder. I also painted the edges with Bright Copper Shimmer Paint and sponged the inside of the leaf with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (my favorite). The new shimmer paints really add a special touch to any project!
For the other leaves, I used: Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, Tranquil Tide (stamped on in same color), Copper Glimmer Paper from the Joyous Noel stack, and the Cajun Craze piece of DSP from the Nature’s Poem pack (stamped in same color). I punched a hole in the largest leaf before layering my smaller leaves so I knew the hole would be uncovered. I used the new Braided Linen Trim to wrap around the lid of the jar and then through, to the front, of the leaf before tying my bow.
This little gem makes a great host give, co-worker gift or just something fun to put on your mantle!
All of the items I used are linked above and below and can be purchased in my online store.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting,
Kurstan
