One thing I love about Stampin’ UP! is that they’re always keeping it fresh. If you’re like me, always wanting to see new, trending items to play with – they’ve got you covered – you’ll never be bored.
Starting today, they’re releasing a new bundle that is available until August 31st or while supplies last. This new bundle will occupy you right up to the release of the Holiday Catalog, which, let’s face it – is the best time of the year, right?! (ok, maybe only in my world?)
This bundle has three items that can be bought individually or you can get the stamp set and Framelits as a bundle and save 10%.
Double cased stamp set (large images perfect for coloring with all mediums), Blended Seasons.
Stitched Season Framelits (swooon – stitching on BOTH sides of the three labels).
NEW Watercolor Pencils – Assortment 2
Aren’t Stampin’ UP!’s samples are stunning? This release is too good, am I right?!
As a demonstrator we’re allowed to preorder a select amount of new products. This was one of them and I was elated to get my hands on it. We used it at our Wine Not Crafter Team Meeting this past weekend.
Here are two of the four cards we made:
Above: My Christmas card is very similar to the sample that Stampin’ UP! posted. The few small differences are that I used Real Red for my card base and I added a Real Red mat and embossed it with the new Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I absolutely LOVE this Embossing Folder. LOVE. I have used it on so many cards recently. My card size is the traditional 4.25″ x 5.5″ and my mat is cut to 4″ x 5.25″. The plaid DSP is from our Under the Mistletoe collection in the Annual Catalog and this piece is cut to 3.5″ x 4″ and layered on top of my mat. I used Shimmer White Cardstock to cut out my Framelit and stamped with Stazon so I could use my Blender Pens with the new Watercolor Pencil colors. My Merry Christmas sentiment is embossed with White Embossing Powder on a scrap of Real Red paper and I accented it with Granny Apple Green ribbon and Gold Sequin trim.
Below: These leaves were the first image of this set to ‘sell’ me. I love fall. The Framelit for this card is also cut from Shimmer White paper. It adds such a subtle loveliness to everything you stamp onto it. I used the new Watercolor Pencils along with some colors from the first set, too. My card base is Early Espresso with a Crumb Cake mat and another mat in Early Espresso. I wanted to emboss the image with Copper Embossing Powder because, FALL, and why not?! The final touch is Copper Sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.
Hi! I'm Kurstan! I'm an independent Stampin' UP! Demonstrator in the SF Bay Area. Though I've taken a few breaks along the way, I've been stamping since 2000 and still love the quality, coordination and design of Stampin' UP!'s products. I know you will, too!
