As a member of the Luv2Stamp Group under Patty Bennett, we’re given a Prize Patrol challenge every month. I try to particpate frequently, but sometimes I’m not able to find the time to squeeze it in.

July’s challenge was to ink up a new Spectrum Pad and share samples with the group. As soon as she posted the challenge, I knew which color families I wanted to use – blues and greens. We have some absolutely stunning colors in these families and it was hard to narrow it down to five colors.

I went with Blueberry Bushel, Bermuda Bay*, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist.  The colors that didn’t make the cut but I still hold dear to my heart are Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy.

These colors are so calming to me and I turn to them often. Last year, you wouldn’t have seen a project of mine without Bermuda Bay somewhere on it. Obsessed.

I ordered my reinkers (can you believe i didn’t have some of them?!), happily inked up my Spectrum Pad and got busy creating. I really enjoyed this challenge and am delighted to share my process and projects with you.

The first two cards are using the Tropical Chic bundle which has absolutely blown me away. We’ve had a few tropical sets in the past but none have WOW’d me before. This one WOWs and astounds. In any color combination, this set makes stunning cards.
This card uses the Love You to Pieces bundle – which, coincidentally, I love to pieces! This is notecard sized and perfect for slipping into a lunch bag or someone’s desk for a happy surprise!

This card didn’t exactly turn out like I had picture in my head, but I love it just the same. It’s perfect for that young guy graduating 5th Grade or High School. It’s also notecard size, which is perfect for a gift card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting,
